An international WasteArt exhibition arrived at the Estonian Road museum
WasteArt project partners invite you to the International art exhibition “NOT out of sight, NOT out of mind”. The exhibition will be open to the public from June 20th 2020 at the Estonian Road Museum in Varbuse Kanepi parish.
The exhibition will stress the consequences of overconsumption and invite visitors to look at waste differently – as a material, resource and opportunities for the future!
17 internationally recognized artists from 9 countries were invited to develop artworks using waste materials found locally or from the landfill “Daibe”:
Varvara & Mar (EE), Jacob Kirkegaard (DK), Marta Moorats (EE), Kiwa (EE), Ansis Starks (LV), André Avelãs (NL/PT), “The Laboratory of Microclimates” Annechien Meier & Gert-Jan Gerlach (NL), Johanna Lohrengel (DE) & Gatis Kreicbergs (LV), Ieva Krūmiņa (LV), Geraldine Juárez (SE/MX), Justin Tyler Tate (CA), Willem Boel (BE), Timo Toots (EE), Elena Redaelli (NO/IT).
Exhibition “NOT out of sight, NOT out of mind” in the Estonian Road Museum will be on display until August 30th, Tue-Sun 11-19. Exhibition is free of charge.
