Scooter Rider and Future Car Driver

Target group: 3rd school grade

Duration: 60 minutes

Several tests are available – seatbelt test to imitate car cash and Drunk Goggle Test to show why drunk driving is inappropriate.

One of the topics of discussion is social behaviour and traffic culture of youngsters.

The education programmes of the Estonian Road Museum are based on the “National curriculum for basic schools” and the “National curriculum for upper secondary schools” and develop children´s play, cognitional and learning skills. Museum lessons give different activities and help to memorize – I see and I remember, I do and I understand.

Road safety programmes are organised throughout the year and are held indoors or outdoors depending on the weather.
The duration of the programme is 1–1.5 hours depending on the number of activities and the children’s age.
The group size for participating in a road safety programme is usually up to 25 people

NB! Electric cars of traffic city are not used in the case of rain and the activity shall be carried out on scooters
